Bounce Rate

A bounce rate measures the share of visits where nothing signaling interest happened before the visitor left. Meeting any single one of those conditions keeps a session out of your bounce count.

Dwell Time

As a measurement, dwell time sits between your analytics and the search engine's own click logs, recording how long a visitor from organic search stayed before heading back to the results page. The signal is anchored to the results page at both ends: it starts on the click and closes on the return.

Three things have to be true for the number to mean anything. The visit has to start from a search results page, and the timer has to run until the searcher returns to that page. Conversion Rate

Measured as a ratio, conversion rate tells you what fraction of a defined audience took the action you set as the goal in a chosen window.
