Understanding Inputs
Determining Which Data to Provide Manually
Inputs are the data you provide to the Workflow manually. To decide what should be an input, consider:
- What data do you already have? If keywords and URLs are already on hand, that’s a great starting point.
- How much automation is desired? More inputs means more manual work.
- What manual effort would be required if the input were blank?
- For example, a meta description Workflow that takes article content as an input would require copying and pasting each article’s text.
- Instead, using the URL as an input lets the Workflow scrape the content automatically.
Choose inputs based on what data you have available.
Input Types for Grids
There are four main input types for Grids:
- Short text
- Long text
